Life List Highlights

11 June 2009

Recently I started constructing a list of things I want to do before I die. It's already up to 111 and counting, and here are a few of my favourites:

  • Write novels and get them published
  • Learn to play the harp
  • Learn swing dancing
  • Become fluent in French
  • Become a sharpshooter
  • Learn how to longboard
  • Hold a sloth
  • Build a treehouse
  • Grow a herb garden
  • Ride in a hot air balloon
  • Learn to recognise the major constellations
  • Live in a house boat
  • Be an extra in a movie
  • Learn to have lucid dreams

And just so you know, I have a completely separate list for travelling!

This list is most definitely a work in progress with no size limit, and I would love any new ideas. So if you have a similar list or plans to start one let me know so I can steal some of your ideas get some inspiration!

I have a life list (which needs to be updated!) in an old journal as well as my 101 things in 1001 days list. I think I am just a bit addicted to writing lists! lol

Your list sounds great, like you, my travelling section of my list was very long!

I think you should put learn how to hoop dance on your list- it is extremely fun and brings out the inner child!

I've thought about hoop dancing, everyone seems to love it from what I've heard. I might just have to give it a try!

    Harp! That is so cool.

Longboarding is really not difficult, and so fun. Try it soon.

I want to get published too. Though, I think I'd like to write a kids' book though. Who knows if I'd ever be good at that, but it could be fun, right?
I'd also love to go to Japan before I die.

    Great idea!

    Very cool!

Have you ever thought of participating in 101 things to do in 1001 days? It's pretty cool too. :)
